I’m Brent, a design engineer with years of hands-on experience in mechanical design, CAD modeling, prototyping, and precision manufacturing. Over the course of my career, I’ve tackled complex projects that demand tight tolerances, functional optimization, material selection, and real-world performance testing.
Frustrated by off-the-shelf solutions that never quite delivered — whether due to poor fit, weak materials, or lack of customization — I turned to 3D printing as the ultimate tool for rapid iteration and bespoke fabrication. What started as solving my own engineering challenges evolved into a full workshop dedicated to creating high-quality, purpose-built parts and products.
Every item in the shop is designed from the ground up using professional-grade CAD tools, engineered for strength and reliability, then printed and rigorously tested right here in Grand Haven, Michigan. I apply the same principles I use in industrial design: proper load analysis, optimal wall thicknesses, strategic infill patterns, and material choices that hold up under real use.
